Analysis Of Philippine Learners’"Shi"Sentence Bias

The "Shi" sentence which is one of the most commonly-used sentences is also one of the six particular pattern in modern Chinese and difficult to learn in the acquisition of using Chinese as a second language. It also have a special characteristic in part of speech and various grammatical meaning which cause it is difficult to use. In addition, the sentence patterns which are made up of "Shi" are complicated and varied. Thus, as Chinese people who use Chinese as our mother tongue, the majority of us cannot give all the clear definitions of "Shi" when we use "Shi" sentences, let alone the foreign students whose basics are so weak.This article extracted226"Shi" wording bias from the students’ composition who were in the fifth and sixth grade elementary school of Chiang Kai Shek high school in Philippines. According to these wording bias, I have analyzed and sorted out the Philippine Learners’ Acquisition of Chinese words the type of bias, the characteristic of bias, the bias generated causes, and propose targeted teaching suggestions.
