Since the1990s, with the extensive application of modern informationtechnology in education, the research on visualization representation turnsinto a popular topic on cognitive science, education and other areas. PME alsotakes the visualization representation as a theme of the study. Mathematicalvisualization representation is an intuitive description of the mathematicslearning objects. It translates the mathematical knowledge into concrete imageand helps learners to understand the knowledge. Both the research of connotationand form of mathematical visualization representation as well as the discussingof its effect on mathematics study provide a new perspective for mathematicsteaching. However, whether theoretical or practical research on visualizationrepresentation in and abroad, there are many issues to be discussed urgently.This paper will narrate from both theoretical and empirical research aspectswith a variety of methods confirmation, in order to enhance the reliability andvalidity of the study.In the theoretical aspect, this paper utilizes theories of multi mathemati-cal representations, Mathematical visualization representations and cognitiveload, etc. by several means. It explores the basic principles of mathematicalcharacterization of the basic principles of mathematical visualizationrepresen-tation teaching and supplemented by experiences and cases analysis.Therefore it proposes to the visual teaching strategies of mathematics andalgebra in junior high school, which include the translation from the abstractalgebraic concepts and symbolic math geometry into visible geometrical figuresand visualization of implied condition in algebra problems as well as the trainof thoughts in problem-solving.In order to apply it into the real word, the use of visualization representa–tion has been base on the theories about mathematics and algebra, which arefrom experiments and courses in junior high school. The visualizationrepresentation and its applications have many functions in various sections suchas mathmatical axes, math formulas, equation solving and question-appliedsolving, that, detailedly speaking, includes funtion-questions and eqution-questions.
