Study On University Information:Current Status Analysis And Promotion Strategies

In the twenty-first century, with the rapid development of world economy and social needs, information technology is improving at rapid exponential rates and informatization has been a necessary element of development of all social sectors and fields. University informationization construction is the need of higher education modernization and the internal requirement of the education modernization system construction, learning university transition and modern talents cultivation. University inform atization is boosting the comprehensive change of teaching models, teaching concepts, teaching contents and teaching methods. University informationization construction can optimize teaching quality, improve academic and service level, and assist cultivation of creative and complex talents for modern society. And it is an important factor of enhancing overall educational capacity, image and core competence of universities. University informationization construction is the inevitable trend of higher education modernization in the knowledge economy times and the pressing strategic task of university reform and development, and the long-term comprehensive and creative systematic project.Nowadays, University informationization construction has made remarkable achievements in China. The university informationization environment has been improved rapidly. With the integration of information technology, teaching models have transited from simple multimedia teaching in the past to multimedia teaching, distance teaching, network teaching now. Modern information technology has been increasingly applying in university, such as office information network, educational management system and financial management system have improved the working efficiency and service level. The "One-Card" achieved the resource share among different departments in universities. This is convenient not only for students but also for university management. Informationization has been ubiquitous in universities. With the rapid development of information technology, especially the emergence of cloud computing, Internet of things, and etc., information technology application has been becoming more and more extensive and important. However, with the speedy development of information technology, there’also are many problems in university Informationization construction. The backward information construction environment, lack of a unified standard and regulations, unsound evaluation systems and information security issues in some university constraint the development of university informationization construction.This paper referred to a lot of literatures about informationization construction at home and abroad, learned from existing experience and fruits, analyzed and compared the difference of informationization construction of universities at home and abroad, surveyed Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Sichuan University, Chengdu University of Technology and etc. From the respect of university builders, this paper proposed the current situation and trend of university informationization construction at home and abroad, described some problems existing in Chinese university informationization construction, analyzed and summarized the measures of Chinese university informationization development deeply, and provided the theory reference and practice scheme for university informationization construction.As to research methods, this paper used literature analysis, questionnaire, case study and etc., and fully exploited Internet, library and academic journals to obtain a lot of literatures about information technology at home and abroad, grasped frontier information technology and application in different fields, obtained existing fruits and the latest research trends in informationization construction. On the other hand, this paper consulted a lot of literatures about university informationization construction, collected the detailed first-hand materials as much as possible, which laid a solid foundation for the research. This paper based on a lot of literatures and theories, compared the difference of university informationization construction at home and abroad, generalized the current situation of Chinese university informationization construction and primary reasons that were restraining its growth, learned from the success of the best of the best in informationization construction at home and abroad, and put forward the proposals. By the questionnaire survey of informationization construction in the manager, students and teachers of Sichuan universities, the actual data has been acquired; the restraining factors of Chinese university informationization have been found and validated; the measures of Chinese university informationization construction have been analyzed deeply.
