The Research On The Organizations For The Faculty Professional Development Of University In Our Country

Faculty professional development of university is an important topic which affects the promoting of techers’ comprehensive quality of university and the improving of higher education quality, and it has become one of research focuses on higher education in the world. As the organizers and implementers, organizations for faculty professional development of university create important condition and good environment for faculty development of university and play a key role in promoting faculty professional development of university. In the study, the national university faculty training and exchaging center, district-level university faculty training centre, provincial-level university faculty training centre, university-level faculty development centre and university’s teching and researching office.are the research objects in this study, the study will inspect its history, function, actuality,the problems at meeting the demands of faculty professional development of the university and promoting the level of faculty professional development, in order to giving suggestions for further strengthen the construction of organizations for faculty professional development of university.On the research methods, the study take literature research method as the principal thing. Through the study and combing of existing literature, definite the connotation of organizations for faculty professional development of university; At the same time, through collecting the concerning historical facts of organizations’ occurrence, development and evolution, on the basis of systematic and objective analysis, the study will reveal the law of development of organizations for faculty professional development of university. And finally, on the basis of existing rules, the study will predict the future development direction of organizations in our country. Though investigation, we found organizations for faculty professional development in our country constantly obtain development and modification and its specialized level improves continually, it has made great contribution in faculty professional development of university. However, the study found that organizations for faculty professional development of higher school in our country still has following problems:(1) in terms of exertion of its function, the depth and diversity of its professional development activities can’t meet demands of faculty professional development of the university, organizations need to enrich the depth and breadth of training content:(2) form and the method of faculty professional development activities is unitary, our organizations solve problems which existing in the higher education, faculty’personal development of higher school is less considered, so faculty’ individual development of university can’t come true;(3) organizations for faculty professional development of university are lack of training funds;(4) the specialization level of full-time staff and trainers in organizations need to be improved, it need to carry out training activities to improve their professional level; Finally, on the basis of knowing the current situation of the organizations for faculty professional development of university in our country, this study will give suggestions on future development to organizations.
