Zhengzhou City Independent Colleges "National Students Physicial Health Standard" Implementation Situation Investigation And Analysis

With the development of the society, people’s social life and cultural level are constantly improved;our country’s high education scale is also in rapid growth; independent colleges are approved by theministry of education, which are generated with the help of public ordinary universities in the country. Asthe economic globalization and opening-up is speeding up, the rapid development of market economy inChina has brought not only rare development opportunities, but also severe challenges for our country’shigh education. Although the independent colleges have flexible management mechanism, due to therelatively short history, managerial experience is insufficient and teaching system is not complete. Thephysical health of college students is related to not only their own development, but also the present andfuture of our country’s modernization construction. During building the well-off and harmonious society, itis the historical mission for university sports to cultivate all-round development of high-quality talent.Based on the independent colleges in Zheng-Zhou city, the present situation of the implementation of the“Standard” test for independent colleges is analyzed, aimed to reveal the characteristics, rules, trends anddifferences of independent college students’ physical health changing status, to provide a reference basis ofimproving the independent college students’ physical health level and the state of college physicaleducation.Based on documents and materials, questionnaire, expert interview, logical analysis, mathematicalstatistics and other research methods, this paper point out the importance of “The National Student PhysicalHealth Test Standard”, and discussed the meaning of independent colleges implementing the test. Throughthe investigation of independent colleges implementing “The National Student Physical Health TestStandard” in Zheng-Zhou city, this paper analyzed some problems in the process of the implementation ofindependent colleges, put forward some valuable advice and provided theoretical basis and practicalreference for independent colleges to better carry out the standard in Zheng-Zhou city.Through the analysis of independent colleges implementing “The National Student Physical HealthTest Standard”, this paper gained the following conclusions: All aspects of the equipment are not perfect,teachers’ strength is weak and small independent colleges’ fiscal support has certain restrictions; Some schools directly adopted the manual testing with insufficient funds and less equipment; The testers aremainly physical education teachers, whose testing experience is limited, some teachers have participated intraining, but the others did not take part in any form of training; Testers have certain defects inunderstanding of “Standard”; The medical security is not well prepared in the process of implementation ofthe test; Test time is mainly in the class time, and the test adopted the line form; Unprepared test instrument,lack of space, the shortage of funds and test personnel, the complicated testing work and so on are the mainfactors influencing the teachers’ testing results.
