New basic education curriculum reform has been carried out for many years,comparedwith the traditional form of courses,the new curriculum reform has been reformed in manyaspects, in terms of teaching objectives,the original "double base"-basic knowledge,basic skills,has been changed into the current "three-dimensional object"-knowledge and skills, processesand methods, attitudes and values.By transforming the teaching objectives,we find that the newreform has attached importance to the dominance courses such as basic knowledge and basicskills,additionally,proposed requirements for the hidden curriculum such as processes andmethods,emotional attitude values.This paper analyses the hidden curriculum factors of PEP high school chemistry textbookbased on constructivism,cognitive development theory and meta-cognitive theory of Vygotsky,and uses questionnaire survey methods to understand and study the development of chemicalhidden curriculum in high school,then propose appropriate implementation strategies based onthe survey results,to improve the positive role of the hidden curriculum in PEP chemistrytextbook for students and promote the comprehensive development of students, includingknowledge, feelings, meanings, behaviour and so on.This paper aims to understand the purpose and meaning of hidden curriculum study in thenew courses reform by reading literature,then to identify the research methods.The article alsotries to recognize the characteristics and role of hidden curriculum through the research.Onthe basis of the hidden curriculum, analyses the clarity of hidden curriculum of high schoolchemistry, whose features and functions are different from other subjects as a branch of hiddencurriculum. By analyzing the hidden curriculum factors in PEP high school chemistry textbook,we can find the development of chemistry hidden curriculum for students to in scienceliteracy,aesthetic, intellectual,human spirit, moral, etc..,Understanding the situation of recessivehigh school chemistry curriculum development by questionnaire, and proposing theimplementation strategies aim at the relevant results, to solve the problem that the role ofhidden curriculum is neglected in the actual process of teaching,and elaborate the function ofchemical hidden curriculum better.
