Hans Freudenthal was great mathematicians of the20th century, one ofmathematics educators, his idea of mathematics education influence thewhole world. After China introduced his thoughts of mathematics education inthe1980s that formed a research boom of Freudenthal, many of them areintroduction of his mathematics education, while few research are concreteapplication to the teaching of specific mathematical knowledge to function.Based on junior high school mathematics teaching function of position andimportance and difficulties, so as to function as a carrier of teaching, using histhoughts to carry out teaching and research on functions, in order to new ideason function teaching,for the use of China’s foreign education specific ideasexplore scenarios, provide reference for the teaching function.The full article is divided into five chapters:The first chapter Proposed combination of Using Freudenthal’s idea ofmathematics eEducation junior high school mathematics education ideologicalfunction studies applied research purposes, significance, current research,research methods and innovations.The second chapter Freudenthal and His mathematics education Thought.Freudenthal ’s a brief introduction to the life, the main works. On the basis ofprevious studies, with their understanding of mathematics education aresummarized his ideas, including mathematical reality, mathematical,re-creation, reflection and interaction.The third chapter Application of Freudenthal’s mathematics educationideas in junior function. Combined junior function part detailed Freudenthal’sthoughts on mathematics education conducted applied research, presentedeach process specific operating strategy and design examples for referencefunction of teaching, established between theory and practice from a bridge. The fourth chapter Summarizes application Freudenthal’s of mathematicseducation ideas. Freudenthal summed up the thoughts of mathematicseducation and its significance in the application of teaching junior high schoolfunction.The fifth chapter Chapter conclusion. To summarize the article, drawconclusions, and propose to continue to study the issue and provide directionfor future learning.Freudenthal think students should learn in real mathematical background,and everyone has a different mathematical reality, to recognize and respect thedifferent students of different mathematical reality. Teaching math studentsshould fully understand the reality on the basis of the creation of the materialextracted from the birthplace of the mathematical background to guidestudents in the re-creation of knowledge which will be transformed into thereality of mathematics and mathematical system build process is mathematical.In fact, students should learn math is not knowledge, but mathematically.Teachers inspire students to re-create the motivation in the classroom, studentslearn math in reality, based on the conduct from far and near layering direction,guidance, students will use the background material induction, analogy,schematization, axiomatic methods for re-creation. Mathematical knowledgeacquisition process so that the process of becoming student by virtue of theirability to carry out exploration, discovery, creation. And, after guiding studentsto reflect, organize re-creation process, so that new knowledge and more to dowith the mind existing knowledge to establish a connection, the formation ofnew mathematical knowledge structure, and finally combined with otherdisciplines, linking applied in practice, then again is a re-creation process.
