The Research On The Situation Teaching Methods Of Chemistry Teaching In Fine Art Schools

With the rapid development of the economy nowadays, the demand for diverse andcreative talent in our society is becoming a necessity. To the students learning art, theyshould know something about chemical life, because it is helpful to their daily life, it willpromote their technical development as well.Compared with the normal students, students learning art have strong observation,imaginable thinking, but when it comes to their logical thinking, it’s not the same, so theymay have some difficulties learning chemistry. As a result, creating a certain kind ofteaching technology based on the character of the students learning art can help themdevelop an interest in learning chemistry, make them actively involved in the procedure ofteaching, so as to gain the knowledge of chemistry.In my paper, first of all, I made a questionnaire about the current situation towards themastery of students’ chemistry knowledge, and interview some teachers in our school tofind some practical problems in chemistry teaching. Based on the problems, I deeply didsome researches, concluded that in our teaching procedure, we should design our teachingaccording to their characters, promoting the Situation Teaching Method.In my research, I choose two normal classes in fine art school as the subject, I alsochoose the different context in different part of the chemistry books. I used the SituationTeaching Method in one class, while the other in the usual way. The staged tests illustratedthat the teaching based on the Situation Teaching Method is effective, and it create a newway for teachers to change the dilemma in Chinese chemistry teaching in the fine artschools.
