With the continuous deepening and implementation of the new curriculum quality education, we recognize that teachers’ knowledge needs change with the times and constantly updated. Teaching methods of teachers, teaching ability to adapt to new educational ideas, new materials must continue to improve and improve. Research activities is to promote overall development of students and teachers’ professional advancement for the purpose of teaching a variety of specific problems in school education and teaching process and curriculum implementation process faced by teachers as the research object for the study of the subject teacher to professional research staff partner school-based practical research activities. The main purpose of teaching and research activities is to effectively improve the professional quality of all teachers, and enhance the ability of teachers curriculum practice.Involved in teaching and research activities are an important way of teachers’ professional development. In this study, a small high-tech campus Haiyuan mathematics teaching and research activities as a case study, the school guidance offices and nine math teachers in-depth interviews to understand the purpose of teaching and research activities in school guidance offices to develop plans and measures taken to carry out teaching and research activities at all levels organization and principal activities, teachers’ participation in the process of experience. By sorting the collected data analysis found that the school developed a plan to improve the teaching and research activities, promote professional development of teachers, improve teaching quality based on objective and arrange the appropriate research activities, but to participate in the process of teaching and research activities of the teachers found that there are some problems. Research activities mainly in the form of a single, high frequency, study and research courses are not carried out, does not reflect the dominant position of teachers teaching and research activities, the teacher is not strong sense of participation and other issues. School mathematics teachers through hands-on teaching and research activities conducted interviews to understand the experience and recommendations of teachers involved in teaching and research activities in the course of the proposed research activities workable, rational proposals for the school to carry out further research and to combine theory provide a reference solution.
