| Textbook of Morality and Society, the leading textbook for moral educationin primary school, plays an important role in cultivating students’ good ideologyand morality. Since the new curriculum reform, there has a dozen versions oftextbooks appeared in China. Although all textbooks are compiled in accordancewith curriculum standards, they have their own characteristics in arrangement ofmoral education content. There is some difference in composition of proportionand grade distribution in moral education content,while the moral educationcontent that textbook presents concerns working eiffciency of moral education inprimary school. Hence, there is a need for analysis and research on arrangementof moral education content in primary school textbook of Morality and Society.The textbooks of Morality and Socieyt published by People’s Education Press andJiangsu Education Press are representative versions of textbooks. This researchattempts to take these two versions of textbooks as example to analyze andcompare the difference of moral education content of two versions in compositionof proportion and grade contribution so as to find out the characteristics ofMorality and Society in arrangement of moral education content. According to thelaw of moral education, to explore the rationality of moral education contentarrangement, It proposes reflection and suggestion on arrangement of moraleducation content, hoping to provide some reference value to the future textbookwriters, so as to play a more effective role of education textbooks. This research can be divided into four parts:The ifrst part is the introduction. It mainly states the basic reason to choosethis topic, specifies the objective and significance of this research topic andelaborates basic ideas and methods of the research on the basis of review andcollocation of results of relevant researches on the textbook of Morality andSociety.The second part is the construction of theoretical basis and text analysisframework of arrangement of moral education content of textbook. It first probesinto theoretical basis of arrangement of moral education content of textbook,analyzes compilation basis of moral education content based on defining coreconcept of "moral education content" and "textbook" and so on, and proposesthat arrangement of moral education content should abide by principles of contentintact and no separation and incompleteness; spiral and no simple repeat; step bystep and no excessive span; views in consistency and no mutual contradiction.Second, based on analysis of elements of moral education content and incombination of Primary Moral Education Syllabus in1993and CurriculumStandard for Morality and Society of Compulsory Education (2011edition), itconstructs an analysis framework taking five elements of morality,law anddiscipline, mentality, ideology and politics content as major dimension so as tomake comparison and analysis of moral education content of Morality andSociety.The third part is the text analysis of arrangement of moral content in two versions of textbooks. According to analysis framework above, it adoptsfrequency statistics and content analysis methods to make analysis andcomparison of arrangement characteristics of moral education contcnt of thesetwo versions. First, it perceives characteristics of these two versions’ compositionof proportion and grade distribution in moral education content rfom comparisonand analysis of conceptual data of moral education content from five aspects,morality, law and discipline, mentality, ideology and politics. Second, itrespectively makes specific comparison and analysis of composition ofproportion and grade distribution directing at moral education elements in everycontent field of morality, law and discipline,mentality, ideology and politics.The fourth part is the conclusion and relfection gained through analysis andcomparison of the two versions of textbooks. According to statistics and analysisresults of moral education content in these two versions of textbook, it can beseen that elements of two versions’ moral education contcnt in Morality andSociety are intact and attaching importance to education of morality and politics;there is difference in composition of proportion and grade distribution of moraleducation content; they both have respective focus on content distribution inphase of studying; some moral education contents are too conccntratcd. At last,based on analysis and conclusion, it proposes rationally design proportion ofmoral education content; persist in the combination of the integrity and hierarchy,the unity of phased and continuity, hoping to offer help to some degree in furtherimprovement and development of arrangement of moral education content of the textbook of Morality and Society. |
