Pre-service teacher’s practice teaching have an important position in TeacherEducation,and it is so important for teacher’s development of further career. There isan important practical significance for practice teaching.Link theory and practice isgood for pre-service teacher’s teaching ability and the experience.which is the functionbetween methods and practice.The constructional history of American teacher educationsystem through4periods: Startup period, Normal School period, Normal College period,Institution of comprehensive University period. When the teacher education change,while the practice teaching changes together. The evolution reflects some rules.TheUnited States have a rich experience in Pre-service teacher’s practice teaching,Chinacan learn from the american attention and reform for practice teaching.Cleared some historical periods of American teacher education, And will put thepre-service teacher’s practice teaching into these stages,analyzed different parts ofAmerican practice teaching,we found that there are amount of problems occur inChinese teacher education system. It is urging to deal with some experience fromAmerican development of teacher education.
