The principle, as the leader of the kindergarten, the educationalconcepts and management method which influence the development ofthe kindergarten. At present, as the professional qualification admittance’slevel of our country is very low, the principal’s occupational qualities andoperational capability need to improve. This situation not only limits theprincipal’s own vocational development is more intensely. As reflectiveability have important influence on the principal’s development, so thispaper put forward improvement strategies of reflective ability on the basisof the investigation and study, which hoping to be promote the principal’sprofessional development.In this paper,"reflective ability" is the research aim. The researcherorganizes related articles with document analysis and get reflective ideasby interviewing with five principals in depth.The result of the interview shows that principals lack of reflectiveability in the management. It mainly reflected in lack of the reflectiveconsciousness, lack of reflection in time, lack of reflection deeply, lack ofreflection’s diversity. The researcher concluded that the reason for thelack of principals’ reflective ability through the analysis of the abovecontent. There are three reasons: firstly, principals are short ofprofessional knowledge; secondly, principals are anxious to seek quicksuccess at work; thirdly, the principals’ reflective mechanism need toestablished.At last, the researcher put forward some strategies to improveprincipal’s management reflective ability through careful analysis. Firstly,principal should have rich theoretical knowledge and ability; Secondly,Principal should strengthen plasticity to enhance reflective consciousness.; Thirdly, principal should use a variety of reflections on the basis ofkindergarten practice. Fifthly, the relevant department shall establishincentive and evaluative mechanism for principal’s reflection. This paperhopes that promote the principal professional development by raisingprincipal’s consciousness and ability of reflection.
