| Minority-nationality’s archives of Yunnan province have distinctively cultural characteristics and can record original information efficiently. As the important part of minority-nationality’s archives, oral archives are also irreplaceable to national archive fonds. With the increasing attention on national culture from domestic and international archive academia, oral archives of nonliterate minority-nationality will give rise to close attention and protection. Yunnan which has the most numbers of minority-nationality, its minorities’cultural heritage includes customs, literatures, crafts and skills, music and dance, national epic, medical knowledge and so on. They make important contributions to the richness and uniqueness of national cultures. Under the influence of natural and social environment, economic and technological development, problems about cultural exchange and inheritance of oral archives are more and more prominent, while management of oral archives is facing with more challenge. With the support of archive and relative academia’s theoretical and practical research productions, this paper tries to summarize the difficulties and problems during the protection of oral archives, and put forward some principles, macro and micro countermeasures that based on characteristics and connotations of oral archives.The thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is an introduction. It indicates the background, purpose, idea, significance of this paper, and summarize the theoretical research and practical experience of minority-nationalities’oral archives. In addition to follow the domestic and international researching trend on protections of oral archives, writer clarifies the methods, innovation, limits and problems during research.The second part is the outline on Yunnan nonliterate minority-nationality’s oral archives. With the theoretical support of Archival science, Ethnology, Historiography, Documentation science, Anthropology and other science, this part defines the archives of minority, oral archives and Yunnan nonliterate minority-nationality’s oral archives, and emphasize characteristics, types and functions of Yunnan nonlitera minority-nationality’s oral archives, in order to be the bases of measures on protectI of oral archives.The third part is present situation of the protection on Yunnan nonliterate minority-nationality’s oral archives. This part primarily includes existing achievements in protection of oral archives, and enumerates the problems of protections about minority-nationality’s oral archives in details.The fourth part is implementation of protection on oral archives. This part highlights the main principles in the process of protection firstly, and put forward the macroscopic and microscopic measures aiming at Yunnan minority-nationality’s oral archives’features and its status. The former is considered as the National Archives and Records Administration, its point is the solutions which pay attention to the long-range and general side. The latter treats the Yunnan Provincial Archives as the protector; it stresses the current and specific protective methods for the sake of efficient protection of oral archives.The fifth part is the conclusion. This part exhibits the paper’s logical relationship briefly and emphasizes the substance again, that is, the importance and necessity of protection on Yunnan nonliterate minority-nationality’s oral archives. The writer also comes up with ideas about the future trend of oral archives’protection according to national environment and development. |
