The reflective teaching was developed in some western countries in the1980sand has been a hot issue in the field of China’s teaching and education. With thedevelopment of quality-education and the deepening of the new curriculumreform, teachers pay more and more attention to its practice and promotionTherefore, how to make use of reflective teaching to improve the mathematicsteaching quality is a great concern of mathematics educators.Based on the current research situation of relfective teaching at home andabroad and the requirements of our new curriculum reform, this thesis conductsresearch further theoretically and practically, especially combined with mye?q)erience in senior three teaching. The ifrst part combs through the existingachievements in this area and defines its research goals as well as its keyproblems. Then, theories related to psychology, pedagogy and methodology helpestablish the basic theory of reflective teaching; on that basis, we can apply themto the teaching practice in senior three, which mainly contain two aspects: how todesign the reflective teaching in senior mathematics teaching and how to guidestudents’ introspectioiL The third part carries out surveys on the results ofreflective teaching between senior teachers and students, does research onteachers’ attitudes to^rds it,and puts forward some feasible proposals onpossible dififculties in this process. The next part focuses on the e?q)eriments, whose aim is to ifnd out the relationship between reflective teaching and theteaching effectiveness. In the experiment, questionnaires are designed, includingstudents’ attitudes to studying mathematics and their mathematical ability. Atferthat, SPSS11.0is used to analyze students’ grades in experimental class and thecontrol class. The conclusions are as ofllows: on the part of teachers, they canrenew their teaching notions and improve their professional skills by relfectiveteaching; on the part of students, their mathematical ability and theirmathematical academic achievement can get improved. In a word, reflectiveteaching has positive efefcts on the results of teaching.
