Career maturity means a psychological preparation of individuals which can complete the career development tasks appropriated to their age.According to the theory of Super’s career development, the senior high school students are in the first stage of career development, this moment the level of their career maturity,will directly provide the preparation as well as lay the foundation, the professional choices of University and even career decisions in the future. While major decision-making self-efficacy means decision makers’self-evaluation and self-confidence to integrant ability of successfully complete the tasks in the process of professional decision making,which has become a new direction of career maturity research. In this study,we investigate the overall status of high school students’career maturity and deficiencies,discuss the relationship between their major decision making self-efficacy and career maturity.We design targeted group counseling intervention program, which provide an empirical basis and teaching reference for high school career education.This study make a questionnaire among422senior high school students, which take the advantage of "scale of middle school students’major decision making self-efficacy" and "scale of middle school students’career maturity" in order to examine the overall level of their career maturity and analyze the results with Reliability Test, Descriptive Statistics, Independent-Sample T Test, ANOVA, Correlation and Regression.We analyze the level of high school students’major decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity as well as the relationship between the major decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity.Results:(1)The average number of senior high school students’major decision-making self-efficacy is3.496,while the average number of career maturity is3.489.Meanwhile, they are significantly different in all test dimensions.(2)The difference of senior high school students’major decision-making self-efficacy is not significant in terms of gender, whether serve as a student leader,whether as a single child Jiving with whom together and differences of fathers’education level.The senior high school students who has a part-time job experience are significantly higher than students who never has a part-time experience in select target, problem solving and major decision-making self-efficacy.There are differences in self-evaluation, gather information, select target,develop planning, major decision-making self-efficacy among senior high students who have differences in mothers’education level.(3)In the stability of senior high school students’career maturity,boys scored significantly lower than girls; in the aspect of self-recognition, students who has served as a class cadre scored significantly higher than students who never hold class cadre; In the aspect of independence, one single child scored significantly lower than non-only child.The difference of high school students’career maturity is not significant in terms of living with whom together.The senior high school students who have a part-time job experience are significantly higher than students who never has a part-time experience in initiative, knowledge of the world, professional attitude, decision-making knowledge and career maturity. There are differences in the career maturity of world knowledge and decision-making knowledge among senior high school students who have differences in fathers’ education level.And There are differences in self-confidence, utilitarian, stability, world knowledge, self-knowledge, professional attitude, decision-making knowledge, career maturity among senior high school students who have differences in mothers’education level.(4)The senior high school students’ major decision-making self-efficacy and vocational maturity show the significant correlation and major decision-making self-efficacy can directly predict their career maturity.Conclusion:(1)The overall level of senior high school students’ career maturity is living in the middle level.But development of interior of the group is not balanced, there exists people who has a lower level of the crowd.(2)The senior high school students who have a part-time job experience exhibits higher levels in major decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity,the senior high school students who have higher mothers’ education level shows higher levels in major decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity.(3)The senior high school students’ major decision making self-efficacy has a positive prediction on career maturity.
