The nationa l funda menta l educatio n has alwa ys emphas ized the training ofability a nd uses it as the core content a nd the main goal o f t he comprehe ns ivedevelopment of students. Training students’ ability is always an important goal inphys ics education,and it works as a significa nt rule for the refor m, conception andevaluation of the colle ge entrance examination. This article is on study of the focus ofphys ics thinking, constructing of junior midd le school students phys ica l think ingleve l a nd looking for some factors which influence the leve l o f phys ical think ing, putforward educatio n and narrow the differences in the leve l of students’ thinking inphys ics teaching strategies.Based on the theories of think ing research fro m perspective of psycho lo gy andthe research on d ifferent leve ls of phys ics think ing. F irstly, to establis h a for mingchart of junior middle school students’physics thinking level, and to elaborate physicsthink ing and phys ics knowledge from three different le ve ls of it, such as le ve l A, leve lB, and leve l C. Secondly, through the study of the junior midd le school phys icsknowledge, it is divided into three phys ica l modu les: phys ica l noun, the laws ofphys ics, and phys ics exper iment. Amo ng the m a test of p hys ics thinking leve l iscomp iled and is used to test students both in a urban experime nta l midd le school and arural ordinary midd le school, thus find ing the situatio n of junior middle schoolstudents’ levels of physics thinking. Thirdly, by designing a questionnaire, itinvestigates factors affecting d ifferences in the leve l o f phys ical think ing o f juniorhigh school students. At last, through the whole research, it puts forward athree-dimens io nal teaching target, setting up a new goa l of phys ics teaching.Thinking is a complex mental activity in human brain. Though this exploratoryresearch, obtains some va luab le research results and conclus ions. it provides a theorybasis for the future fur ther study on the quality of phys ics think ing le vels.
