The development of information need be guided by the innovation of education philosophy, be based on the highest quality of education resources and the construction of information learning environment. Besides, the development of information need make the learning style and the innovation of education modes as the core. It brings traditional teaching modes and methods great impact, therefore, the research of learning style and the innovation of education modes become the hot topic in the current field of education.The basic idea of the STS philosophy is that Science solves the theoretical issues and Technology solves the practical problems. The philosophy emphasis on that Science ultimately benefits the society, and will make human life has been further improved and enhanced. Besides, the philosophy’s aim is to cultivate a new generation of comprehensive talent who has scientific and technological literacy and who can participate in decision-making. This paper focuses on the research on the combining of STS philosophy and middle school chemistry. This paper conducts a study from these four aspects of the flow charting for STS philosophy teaching mode, the selection of teaching content, the design of teaching cases and the evaluation of teaching effect.The paper firstly states the background of the subject and the significance of the research. Through the research on overseas and domestic research status, the paper finds out the existed problems between the overseas and domestic research, at the same time, draws lessons from merit scholars’outstanding achievements thus to establish my work task and research project. State the STS philosophy as well as its educational thoughts. Take the analysis of the students, the analysis of learning need, the determination of the teaching aims, the selection of the teaching content and the establishment of teaching flowchart. And then, carry on the teaching cases. Secondly, carry out the evaluation of effect by four dimensions.At last, summarize the full text, point out the main innovative points and the still insufficient and speculate on the future development in the way the integration between STS philosophy and science education.
