Haikou as the provincial capital of Hainan and the economy relatively developed areas has116000of the middle school students. They are active in mind, creative and sensitive to new things; compared with the developed areas of the middle school students, they are relatively conservative, information lag and sensitive to the tangled with the contradiction more in. Such a huge number middle school students, who have special identity and behavior, constitute a unique consumer groups. However, research on the consumption behavior of the middle school students in Haikou lags behind consumer guide dazed and education.The research chooses middle school students in Haikou as the research object, using the method of questionnaire, interview method and literature method and other methods, and also uses the sampling survey for the middle school students in Haikou. From the consumer motivation, consumer decision-making style, consumption habits, consumption style, consumption idea, consumption structure and consumption level and other aspects, we analyze the characteristics of the consumption behavior of middle school students in Haikou, and summarize their consumption type from their behavior characteristics. Manifested in the following types:first, rational and irrational consumption concept coexist; second, saving and luxury consumption concept coexist; third, conformity and individualized consumption concept coexist; fourth, the proportion of material and enjoyment of consumption concept to increase. Based on the investigation, the paper analyzes the harm of the unhealthy consumption concept.According to the research, we believe that the impact of the formation reasons of Haikou middle school students’ unhealthy consumption concept, not only including that the middle school students physical and mental development characteristics, and also including school, family and social factors. Therefore, this paper puts forward reasonable countermeasures and guides the middle students’health consumption from the school, family, society, the students themselves four aspects.
