In recent years, the rapid development of satellite navigation technology has penetrated into people’s daily life and work, such as the ubiquitous of cellphone GPS navigation and vehicle control systems navigation, which greatly facilitated people’s travel. The application of GPS navigation as an industry has a lot of economic value. Every country are developing the navigation and positioning system, for example, The Beidou system of our country adapts to the development and needs of the times. The application of satellite navigation is mainly the application of the receiver, and we use it to receive the data of measured points, then extract the target point’s speed, latitude and longitude, as well as other basic information.This experiment platform mainly uses C language, ASP technology, dreamweaver and the matlab language to implement this software. Dreamweaver and APS is used to realize the user’s login platform. Under the Microsoft Visual C++6.0environment, students use the C language to extract the latitude and longitude information of the collected data. The matlab is applied to generate simulated data and show latitude and longitude of the track.This paper aims to provide students with real experimental environment and data which helps students understand the collection, extraction and visualization of the procedure of GPS. This paper mainly introduces the composition and principle and data format of GPS system. Based on the platform, students extract the latitude and longitude of the GPS data by experiment method, and then display the latitude and longitude extracted in the form of the trajectory. The platform made the data extraction process clearly, at the same time the experiment platform also equipped with the detail and help files for each experiment. Through this experimental platform, the students can wonderfully complete the experiment and have a more profound understanding.
