| The rural education is an important part of education, it affects the developmentlevel of education in our country.However, for the gap between urban areas and ruralareas, rural teachers hold negative attitude towards the living environment, theeducation level and the conditions of rural area school.The rural teachers have lessenthusiasm,lower work efficiency, lower identification with school and higher Mobility.Therefore, the study of enhancing teachers’school identification in rural areas willstimulate the development of the rural teachers and improve the teachers’enthusiasm.Then the rural teachers are more willing to make contribution to the rural schools.Thequality of rural education will be promoted better.This paper selects132primary and secondary school teachers from two towns in apoverty level. The questionnaire investigation help us to know the situation ofteachers’school identification in rural areas.In addition, we interview15primary andsecondary school teachers in rural areas.we also collect information through theobservation and investigation to know the forming process and related influence ofteachers’school identification deeply.This study found that, school education environment in the rural areas is lowerthan in the city;the rural area teachers’ school identification is higher than the average,but the promise to the school is not high.In various elements, the teachers’identificationwith the school district environment and the education environment is not high and theschool structure also exist many problems. But the teachers’identification with schoolculture and management is relatively high.Teachers’school identification in rural areaare mainly affected by teachers’individual factor, such as teacher’s perception of theircareer or the cognition of self; the most important family factor is separated from hisfamily; school environment factor, including school geographical environment and theconditions of the school.Multiple factors together influence teachers’ identification tothe school.The rural teachers having actively school identification will have more willing towork in rural school.In order to enhance the identification with school,promote theteachers’ professional development and school development and improve the educationquality of rural area, we should construct school, promote teachers’ professionaldevelopment, and create a favorable education environment. |
