Since the reform and opening up, China’s economy had developed rapidly. The China’sGDP hit a large scale and high-speed development which is well known as the "Chinesemiracle". Reform and opening up produced a huge change in the country. This changepenetrated into every field including science and technology. The rapid economicdevelopment had a huge demand for technology, and this demand promoted the developmentof science and technology. Meanwhile, the research resources of the whole society,researchers, financial support are brought together in college. It can be said universityoccupies an important position in transformation of scientific and technological achievements,and deeply affected that. As the country’s strong province in economy and education,Guangdong had more urgent needs for transformation of applying scientific and technologicalachievements. So the research on mode selection of transformation of applying science andtechnology achievements in Guangdong’ national “211Project” College had importantpractical significance to promote that Guangdong Province national "211Project" universitiesselected suitable mode select, and promote the transformation of scientific and technologicalachievements.This study used some research methods, such as literature analysis, interviews andlogical analysis. Firstly, the paper studied that which modes four colleges used in transfer ofapplying science and technology achievements; secondly, the paper analysis the modeselection of transformation of scientific and technological achievements; finally, this paperproposed some measures to solve the problem that how to select modes. Studies had shownthat:(1) There are three modes of transformation of scientific and technological achievements inGuangdong national “211Project” college, namely, self-transformation model, technologytransfer and co-development model mode.(2) Under conditions of perfect information, universities’ ability to carry out research andtechnology transfer achievements in industry capacity universities, enterprise’ researchcapabilities, enterprises’ research capabilities after technology transfer, enterprises’ researchcapabilities after co-development, the value of scientific and technological achievements have a direct impact on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements collegechoice.(3) Under conditions of incomplete information, it depends on universities’ income whenthey select the science and technology achievement transformation mode; it depends on thetype of the scientific and technological achievements which enterprise determined when theyselect the science and technology achievement transformation mode. Those low-valuescientific and technological achievements would be pass off the fish eyes as pearls, only bystrengthening communication between universities and business, we can promote thetransformation of scientific and technological achievements...
