With the development and progress of the current society, private education hasplayed an indispensable part of high education in our country.《PRIVATEEDUCATION PROMOTION LAW》has confirmed private high education as a partof socialist education career legally for the first time, which would definitely make apositive effect for its own development. Private professional colleges referred to thecollege established by the social capital in high vocational education, which aimedfor training high-quality, skill talent for the society. The performance managementsystem in private college directly influenced its teaching standard, the level ofperformance management varied considerably between these colleges, resulting fromdifferent college scales and features. Private colleges such as Jiangxi K College alsotried to find a PMS suitable for its own demand, which had small college scales andshort running history, and featured professional education. The paper applied thePMS and inspiriting mechanism in the human resource management theory, andlearned the successful experiences from the domestic public and private colleges, inthe case of Jiangxi K College, tried to study from4sessions of PMS and the uses ofthe results of the performance management,on the basis of analyzing the currentproblems and reasons of teaching PMS. The research productions as below:(1) This paper described the current performance evaluation system in JiangxiK College, and analyzed the defects and the reasons.(2) The paper presented the improvement proposal for the K College from5aspects, which is performance plan, performance coaching, performance assessment,performance feedback and the uses of the results of the performance management, inorder to encourage teachers be active and enthusiasm in the work.(3) The paper also pointed out some supplementary measures for performancemanagement system to insure the PMS run smoothly, such as establishment of PMSnetwork platform and PMS file management and etc.
