High school geography survival education is the education that the state, society,school, family eduated middle school students in survival consciousness, survival skills,knowledge and education on the implementation of survival concept with purpose, plan,organization which based on the basic characteristics of middle school geographydiscipline and high school students’ physical and mental development rule, It is a basiccontent of middle school geography education,and has profound educational significancethat enrich students’ survival knowledge, improving survival quality, promoting theall-round development of students.The new geography curriculum standards of full-time ordinary high school that wasformulated by ministry of education in2003clearly put forward that "design timely andbasic high school geography curriculum,providing the necessary geographical knowledgeto future citizens, enhancing students’ ability in geography learning ability andsurvival".Survival education that was written in new geography curriculum standards ofmiddle school embodies the main national educational department pay high attention to thesurvival education in middle school.For a long time, affected by traditionalexamination-oriented education concept, geography survival education of middle school inour country has not been effectively implemented, and the situation is not optimistic,which is not conducive to the all development of students.The research of geography survival education of middle school that a lot of geographyeducational scholars have done a lot of work, and many achievements have been made.Thearticle analysis comparative the concept、characteristics and connotation of middle schoolgeography survival education using the methods of literature study; Combining with thecharacteristics of middle school geography, the article analysis the feasibility of thegeography survival education in high school; Through to the questionnaire survey ofteachers and students who were in the high school geography in the part of Shandongprovince, understanding the main problems, analysising comprehensive its causes, and putsforward the reasonable solution to the problems.In addition, this article design case that combined with the survival education of middle school geography class teaching and highschool geography teaching materials. Finally, this paper summarizes the whole researchprocess, analyzing its deficiency, and make a prospect.The geography survival education in middle school has a positive role in promotingthat is for students’ all-round development, improving national quality, promoting socialcivilization.At meantime,it also requires close cooperation with the state, society, school,family; Each of our geographical educational workers has the responsibility and obligationinto the hard work.
