| Mao Zedong’s military thought is created and influenced not only from the combination of Marxism and practice of China’s revolutionary war, but also nourished by China’s ancient military thoughts, Mao Zedong was born in Xiangtan, Hunan. He is deeply influenced from Wang Chuanshan’s military thought which assembles the characteristics of Hunan’s military cultures. This paper is based on text, compares part of Mao Zedong’s military thought with Wang Chuanshan’s and find many of their thoughts similarities and sameness, which includes: Mao Zedong’s thought of attack dispersed, isolated enemy firstly, then attack concentrated and strong enemy with Wang Chuanshan’s thought of attack weakness and then to strong; Mao Zedong’s military principle of concentration of forces with Wang Chuanshan’s discourse of main attack direction; Mao Zedong’s thought of annihilating of enemy’s effective forces with Wang Chuanshan’s thought of military force as priority; Mao Zedong’s thought of don’t fight the battle without preparations with Wang Chuanshan’s thought of “easy and difficultâ€; Mao Zedong’s guerrilla thought with Wang Chuanshan’s thought of peasant war and guerrilla tactics. Mao Zedong’s military thought includes local factors proves that Mao Zedong is the model of heritage China’s excellent traditional cultures, achieve the completed, unified and deeply combination of Marxism with China’s actuality.Mao Zedong’s military thought is the excellent combination of China’s historical heritage with evolution theories. It not only has many important enlightenment to win a modern war, but also provide valuable references for our party to insist on the principle of “mastery of east and west, ancient and modernâ€, enrich and develop theoretical system with Chinese characteristics under the new situations. |
