Quebec, the colony of Canada from the United Kingdom,which has always been the key issues of world, Quebec problem has always been throughout the history of Canada. this paper was trying to figure out the Quebec problem, and analyzed and summarized the reasons for its emergence,First of all, self-determination was analyzed, including the self-determination comes from 18 th century European Enlightenment, when the main purpose was to support the interests of the bourgeoisie, against feudal theocracy After the end of World War II,self-determination was mainly used for national against colonial oppression, and achieved national liberation and national freedom, and has become an important principle of international law.Secondly, problem of Quebec history and contemporary evolution has been described,including the French colonial situation in Quebec, British colonial period and the Anglo-French conflict between developed into a national problem situation after independence of Canada. Meanwhile, this paper focused on the significant impact of Quiet Revolution and analyze the problem in Quebec today based on current Canadian political dynamicsLastly, this paper elaborated the reason of twice Quebec referendum failed from political,economic, linguistic and cultural aspects. Since two referendums has a significant impact to Canadian society, this paper briefly summaried the entire change of Canadian province of Quebec after analyzed the failure of the referendum. Meanwhile, the paper described different viewpoints of connotation of the concept of self-determination from the different scholars and analyzed the independence movement in French in order to research problems of today’s Quebec based on current political dynamics, which made a little inspiration for sovereign state...
