Public Crisis Management Research Under The New Media Environment

With the development of information technology and network technology, the new media technology is widely used and booming developed based on the Internet and booming, especially the mobile Internet, which resulted the rapid development of new media, it also impact our country’s political, economic, cultural, ideological, and other fields a lot. Nowadays, China is at a new historical starting point and comprehensively deepen reforms and economic restructuring, while critical social contradictions and frequent public crises affected the social stability and harmony hardly, above mentioned aspects caused widespread concern in the government and the society. It contributed significantly to the interaction of the audience and also attracted large number of people actively involved in the dissemination of information and discussion of hot topics due to the interactive characteristics of new media technology, Public crisis spread around the world with fastest speed and it becomes the focus of the short term common concern in the whole society. Thus, the new media has become the main channel for the people to receive information, it will also become the main channel of government public crisis broadcast. Government slightest mistake could engage the public in dealing with misunderstandings and dissatisfaction crisis even, to some degree, it also may intensify contradictions furtherly. Therefore, the government must emphasize exists of the new media, and fully understand the working ways of new media. It request high requirement to the government public crisis management in the new media conditions.Under the condition of new media, How to deal with public crisis and how to use media effectively in crisis management becomes an opening questions for government.The topic of my thesis is mainly created under above mentioned background.Specifically, the article discusses as following:The first chapter introduces the background and significance, research status quo at home and abroad this topic research content.The second analysis the Concept of new media and the public crisis management,and then expounds the "spiral of silence" theory, social crisis conflict theory, risk society theory. The government should raise the ability of public crisis management based on the 3 theories.Chapter 3 mainly analyzed a hot case named "A police of named LiLebin shot and kill a citizen in Anqing railway station", after the case analysis, writer comprehensive analysis of the new media in the event of a crisis role. A detailed analysis were made for the causes of the current problems of government departments in the new media Perspective of Public Crisis Management in the deposit as well as issues arising based on the theory.The fourth chapter mainly puts forward some improvement of government public crisis management from the new media of countermeasure thought and some conclusion has practical guiding significance.
