Study On Legal Identity Of Legal System Of Ancient Zhuang Nationality Region

China is a unified multi-ethnic country and national solidarity and harmony has long been the goal of the country and the society. "Decision of the CPC Central Committee about a number of major issues to comprehensively promote the rule of law" introduced by the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee provides a new way of thinking to handle national problems, which is using legal means to solve national problems. To build the modern legal order in the ethnic areas and achieve the socialist rule of law requires further constructing the legal identity in the ethnic areas. Legal identity is an inner positive emotion that members of the community form the awareness of needs and expectations for laws through their own practical needs and rational thinking and after rational judgment and classification of laws with the awareness, they generate a kind of voluntary obedience to laws complying with their experiences, feelings, beliefs and values and make the laws as a behavior guide. Only when people produce such positive emotions on the law, it can make people obey the law voluntarily, thus further promoting the rule of law in ethnic areas. Zhuang Nationality has the largest population among Chinese 55 ethnic minorities. In its long history, the national legal system and culture deposited in the history is very rich, but research on the legal system and culture of Zhuang region is relatively small and the research on legal identity of people in Zhuang region is almost blank. Therefore, based on study of legal systems of the ancient Zhuang Nationality under different ethnic policies, the author summarizes the framework and characteristics of the legal system of the ancient Zhuang Nationality, then sorts out the overview and the law of the development of legal identify in the ancient Zhuang region and represents the development process of legal identity in Zhuang region. It provides historical experience and lessons for China to construct legal identity in Zhuang region and provides some inspiration for further promoting the rule of law in Zhuang region and safeguarding national stability and harmony.
