| With the outburst of 2008 financial crisis and the prominent development of the emerging countries, the existing international financial system becomes more and more problematic. There are various conflicts between the developed countries and developing countries in this area. Although the traditional international financial organizations have a lot of issues with the new development in both economy and politics, they still play a significant role. As to the south countries, the new changes in international financial regimes are both opportunities and challenges to them. Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank during whose establishment China played a leading role is a newly founded regional financial institution. There is much to be concerned about its role and function in international financial system. This thesis will analyze the north-south divide in international financial regime, which can be revealed by both the formal and informal rules and institutions, and the subject involved in making and executing the rules. This thesis will use the method of normative analysis and positive analysis and analyses the reason why the gap between north and south is so deep in this field. Besides, this thesis will give some suggestions on how to improve the international financial system. |
