Discussion On China’s Regulations Of Deposit Insurance

The earliest deposit insurance system in the world was establishe d in 1829 by the government of New York. Subsequently, the introduction of the deposit insurance system has increased from 47 countries in 2 005 to 94 countries in 1995. According to the international deposit in surance agency statistics,up to 2014,there are 113 countries and regi ons which have their own deposit insurance systems. The sixty-seventh executive meeting of the State Council adopted the"deposit insurance Act" in October 2014, which established the deposit insurance system. Compared with our country, the deposit insurance system of Republic of Korea established earlier, and after a long period of time, become basically mature.Therefore, our country can investigate the related system of Korea to improve our country’s deposit insurance system on the basis of the dialectical absorption.This paper focuses on issues related to the deposit insurance system. It covers a total of four chapters.Chapter one, introduction. Including the research purpose、 significance、methods and domestic and foreign research of deposit insurance system. Chapter two, the summary of Deposit Protection Act o f Republic of Korea. This part introduces the aim of legislation, mai n content and relevant cases and comments. Chapter three, the summary analysis of deposit insurance Act. This part introduces the backgroun d, the impact t, the main content and the existing problems of the act. Chapter four, analysis and comparison of deposit insurance law and regulation of China and Korea. This part provides suggestions on the improvement of deposit insurance Act in China,in order to promote the development of our counter’s financial market,and even the whole social economic security.
