How to evaluate the ideological and political propaganda work during the Long March of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army?How to apply the great pioneering of the Red Army to the wide spreading of the spirit?Obviously,digging into the propaganda work of slogans and symbols during the Long March,especially the work in Sichuan area, could helps us systematically learn the history of Ideological and political education of the Communist Party of China. According to this point of view, this article regards slogans as the method of the propaganda work of the Red Army in Sichuan and conducts a case study.This article consists of introduction, four chapters of text and conclusion.The route of writing this article is:In the introduction part(first chapter),this article simply verify the necessity of picking up this subject by proposing questions,and we do some research about how scholars from all over the world analyze slogans.Besides,this part concludes the way we use to research, as well as the difficulties and innovations in this case study. We also use some practical method to deal with the corresponding problems.In the first paragraph of the text(second chapter),this article simply discusses the basic meaning of slogans of the Red Army in Sichuan by the definition of slogans, classifies the slogans into four kinds according to specific standard,and analyzes the characteristic of the slogans by combining examples.In the second paragraph of the text(third chapter), we elaborate the principle of doing this case study that we stick to and conclude the viewpoint of the subjectivity of people and mental power in Marxism Theory, in order to lay the theoretical basis for this article. In the meanwhile, this part analyzes the thought resources of the slogans to let readers know that any actions are the result of certain idea. The arise and the distribution of slogans of the Red Army in Sichuan and the researches in different time also have historical and cultural resources support them.In the third paragraph of the text(fourth chapter),we mainly discuss the formation of the slogans, involving subject analysis, object analysis, content analysis, method analysis,etc. What’s more, we point out the strength and weakness of the propaganda work of the slogans.In the last paragraph of the text(fifth chapter),we focus on the value of the slogans nowadays. The article illustrates four parts of the contemporary value of the slogans:party’s governing,political mobilization,utilization of “the Red resource” and reinforcement of the propaganda work.In summery, this article focuses on the subject perspective of ideological-political education by consulting some reference and points of related literature and does targeted research on slogans which were used by the Red Army in Sichuan to propagate. To a certain extent, it enriches the history of ideological-political education of the Communist Party of China and the content of researches on ideological-political education of our army.
