The "Struggle" Newspaper (Soviet Area Version) And The Study Of The Sinicization Of Marxism

The Struggle newspaper is an official newspaper founded by Communist Party in the Soviet era. This newspaper was published in February 1933 in Ruijin County, Jiangxi Province. It had been released 73 issues and forced to cease publication in September 1934. The newspaper published 356 articles totally. There were four articles in each issue at least and eight articles at most. Many important resolutions, instructions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Central Bureau of the Soviet Area and the Communist International and articles about the Soviet education, economy, power and agrarian construction and the struggle within the party routes was published in this newspaper. Today, these articles still play an important role in party newspaper research. These articles in the Struggle not only helps us deepen the awareness of the party’s principles and policies of Soviet military and political struggle, also help to further understand the general evolution track of the Soviet undertakings construction. Besides the articles help us deepen academic research of the spread of Marxism in that period.This thesis closely focuses on the study of the articles about Soviet economy, agrarian and power construction which published in the Struggle newspaper, and explains that Struggle plays a vital role on the Sinicization of Marxism. It makes a preliminary review of “Struggle” on this basis so that it helps us to broaden the depth and scope of the study on the newspaper.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is prolegomenon. It explains the basis and importance for the selected topic, the relevant academic research situation, the main content, methods and innovations of this paper.The second part is the overview of the Struggle newspaper. It mainly introduces the background of Struggle and historical background of the Sinicization of Marxism in the Soviet period.The third part focuses on the spread of Marxism. It explains from the content, methods, and characteristics of these three aspects in detail, in order to deepen the understanding of the newspaper.The fourth part mainly study from five aspects to comb the newspaper’s important role in summing up the experiences of the Sinicization of Marxism. It help us recognize the arduous journey that Marxism introduced into China from the very beginning until becoming the theoretical weapon in guiding national revolution. It makes us more appreciative of these theoretical achievements.The fifth part is based on the third and fourth parts to understand the Struggle newspaper and the Sinicization of Marxism from two aspects of positive and negative. The issue period of Struggle newspaper is also the period of "Left" mistakes route dominating in Party. Therefore, Struggle newspaper played an active role in the process of Marxism in China while also inevitably had a negative impact. A correct understanding of the relationship between them can help us understand the important status of the party newspaper in exploration of Marxist theory.The last part is epilog. It is a summary of full text, which analyses and concludes relations between party newspapers like the Struggle and the Sinicization of Marxism. It concludes the help of party newspaper like Struggle in the research of the history of news and communicatio.
