Deep Analysis On Current Construction And Development Path Of Auxiliary Police

Auxiliary police staff is not only an important auxiliary force of the public security organs, but also an assistant of policemen, an important part of our country social security prevention and control system currently. With the rapid development of economic society, facing the increasingly grim situation of public security and the shortage of police force, auxiliary police play an prominent role in maintaining social stability, prevention and control, assisting administration and serving people, making a positive contribution to social development. However, owing to the lack of legal support, it appears many bottlenecks in the funds guarantee, application and management, efficiency elaboration, etc. In some areas, auxiliary management is lack of standardization, duty is uncivilized,enforcing the law in excess of authority, violating the principles, infringe upon the public interests.Those improper phenomena affect the whole image of the public security departments to maintain social order and efficiency. As a result, an urgent major issue in current public security organs is to promote reform and development of auxiliary police and strengthen the standardized management.This paper is on basis of the public management theory, bases on management practice of XiangCheng District auxiliary police, summarizes the successful experience and advanced practices on auxiliary construction of domestic and overseas, analyzes the current status of auxiliary police in multi-level and multi-angle view, mainly studies standardized management of auxiliary team,explores how to further standardize the auxiliary team management, promote reform and development of auxiliary team, make it adapt to the deepen reform and development of public security, give full play to the auxiliary police staff in public order through comprehensive measures,so that it can lay a solid foundation to realize the modernization of police.
