Contemporary Chinese Foreign Strategy

China is developing rapidly by grasping the peace of the international system transformation and by the timing of the economic globalization and the rise of emerging economies. Faced with the transition of Post-cold war international system, the impetus of the economic globalization and the rise of emerging economies group, the international system from the poles of the system during the cold war to the contemporary system of multilevel. After more than 30 years of development, China has enhanced its comprehensive national strength. At the same time, China is also facing a series of challenges: the financial crisis of 2008 to the global economic downturn, the western developed countries began to implement trade protectionism so as to recover; Global issues and non-traditional security challenges; the spread of the so-called "China threat" of existing hegemony countries and China’s neighboring countries, all of these factors is influencing the further development of our country. In this paper, I study China’s foreign strategy based on the perspective of the international system transformation.Profound changes have taken place in the international balance of power in the face of a peaceful transition of contemporary international system. China has put forward the characteristic power diplomacy in the face of international order depth adjustment, it reflects the development trend in the world and international pattern of major changes, as well as the promotion of China’s international influence and the historic change of relations between China and the world. China set out to build win-win cooperation as the core of the new international relations about "China threat".China has established partnership with more than 70 countries and regions, forming a global partnership network, advancing the new power relations.In peripheral diplomacy, China promotes the concept of sincere HuiRong, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation with surrounding countries and connectivity, and make "common, integration, cooperation and sustainable" Asian security concept. In dealing with territorial sovereignty and maritime rights disputes with its neighbours, we adhere to dialogue and consultation with a peaceful solution. As the foreign top desine, Chinese "area" construction is put forward. "Area" has become China’s diplomacy as a whole two new point of contact, the general situation of domestic and international to take the initiative to develop along with the country’s economic partnership. "One Belt and One Road"(OBOR)" construction will comprehensively deepen reform and sustainable development for China to create premise condition as the key points in future development and breakthrough.
