Research On Marx’s Theory Of Social Time

Concept of time is an important part of the Marxist theory and the inner structure of many Marx’s theory. Marx’s concept of time has a deep influence in Western culture, the social time, which can reflect people’s positive existing, is an important part of Marxist theory. Social time is the time of Marxist philosophy and the time in process of practice. To understand and grasp the meaning of social time correctly have great significance for promoting social progress and human freedom. Through comprehensive understanding of the social time, the study not only provides the scale of time for us to grasp the development of social productivity, but also help us to set up the correct view of social time. Social time theory can provide the time theory support of human-oriented, and the theory weapon of capital critique. In social life, adhere to the guidance of the social time theory, is conducive to formulate the labor and social security policy, to formulate and perfect the policy for holiday, even to have a direct impact on the alienation of social time in real life.Mainly on the method of literature research, through analyze the formation and development of Marx’s theory of social time history, this paper discusses the source and practice basis of Marx’s social time. The starting point of Marx’s social time was Aristotle’s concept of time, at the same time under the influence of Augustine, Kant, Hegel, after thinking, Marx made the social time theory more completely. Through summarizing and analyzing about literature and research results of Marx’s social time theory, showed the social time restricting of personal and social development. In order to answer what is Marx’s theory of social time, this paper describes from three aspects, namely, the basic connotation of Marx’s theory of social time, the main features of Marx’s theory of social time and Marx’s theory of social time relationship with the people’s liberation and social development. From the practice of social time, the relation between work time and free time, and the relationship between the development of social time and space, I begin to explain the connotation of Marx’s theory of social time; To illustrate the basic features of Marx’s theory of social time, I have summarized social time as reversibility and irreversibility, subjectivity and objectivity, limited and unlimited, fact and value in a comprehensive and detailed way. In terms of the relationship between Marx’s social theory of time and people’s liberation and social development, I explain it from four aspects, namely, the natural inevitability of labor time, labor time is the basis of social existence and development, free time is a space-round development of the individual, free time is a measure of personal freedom and liberation.
