| As China’s developing with the rest of the world, more and more Chinese prefer going abroad for business and experience new kind of life in different countries. You can see more overseas Chinese appear on the world stage in all kinds of areas, such as economy, polity and culture. However, these years unexpected events which always endanger the life and safety of the overseas Chinese happened more frequently. China, as a responsible country since the beginning of history, devoting every effort to rescue these overseas Chinese endanger is absolutely our country’s obligation. Therefore, the role our government play in rescuing them is very crucial.This paper is written basic on the integrated model of government crisis management. First of all, this paper will introduce and analyze the concept and the using method of the model so that we can use this model to improve the rescuing work. It will analyze from several points, such as reasons, characteristics and government rescuing situations. According to the integrated model of government crisis management, there are some aspects need to be improved so that the rescuing work can be done more efficiently. Also, in the end of my paper, I will show my opinions and put forward some suggestions. The main research method is questionnaire survey method, literature reading and case analysis. For the reason that topic is closely related to the unexpected events happened on overseas Chinese, I will analyze through the real case. In the last part of the paper, I will give some reasonable suggestions and ideas which are improvement of rescue work at present according to the conclusion of the study and analysis. It includes the methods our government need to take and the things the overseas Chinese need to do to strengthen their consciousness of self protection. The purpose of this paper is to promoting the overseas Chinese protection work, so that they can enjoy safer and comfortable life. At the same time, I hope I can make a contribution to the work of overseas Chinese protecting and improve our nation image of a highly responsible country. |
