China is a unified multi-ethnic country, minority population of over 100 million, the ethnic autonomous areas of the total land area of 64%, the vast majority of the region and the western border is the minority area. The fundamental national condition decided the development in minority areas holds the extremely important status in the global economic and social development in our country. In the ethnic areas of the city to speed up the process, is more important to protect the land property rights of farmers is the housing. Xinjiang is an inalienable part of China, Xinjiang is located in the border of the motherland, covering an area of 1664900 square kilometers, accounting for 1/6 of the total area of China Chinese, is the largest provincial-level administrative region, due to reasons of history and geographical environment, there is a certain difference between the development of Xinjiang and other provinces. The level of development of various nationalities in Xinjiang area is uneven, and the synchronous development of Xinjiang will pay more attention to the national interests of farmers, because it is the basic task of the present stage of our country to solve the ethnic problems, this is not only related to the implementation of the overall strategy for regional development in our country, the realization of the relationship between the comprehensive construction well-off society goal, but also related to the national unity, social stability and the consolidation of the border, to the country’s long-term stability. Urbanization is the inevitable trend of the development of human society, is an important symbol of social modernization, is the necessary process of modernization, it is a necessary process of national modernization. Protection of the National Farmers’ rights and interests in the process of modernization, is the development of Xinjiang economy, perfecting the ethnic equality, unity, mutual, harmonious ethnic relations, is the realization of the rule of law, is an important task to realize modernization of ethnic relations, but also the important content of social modernization. The development of the society, China speeding up and the process of city, have had a profound impact on the development of the areas inhabited by minority nationalities in our country and ethnic relations, and this is mainly affected by the increasing mobility of the population, change, the national living pattern differences, customs and religious beliefs of the ethnic inter marriage phenomenon and national consciousness gradually increase and other factors.Both need to solve practical problems and theoretical development of this research in based on the guidance of Marx’s theory to the study of this problem by using some theories and methods of legal theory and other interdisciplinary. Through the research on the problems of social modernization in ethnic minority areas of Xinjiang Province, the rights and interests of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang area of the protection in the process of socialization, especially the problem of farmers’ land and housing property rights, so as to comprehensively promote the Xinjiang region of the social transformation, social operating mechanisms established social benign operation and coordinated development, to further accelerate the modernization of society the process of Xinjiang area to provide reference and recommendations.The thesis consists of six parts, including introduction, four major problems are studied and the conclusion. The first part is an introduction. Firstly, this article describes the background and significance of the research. The second is the research summary, carding on the Xinjiang area as well as the main research of the social modernization. Based on the existing research on the evaluation, this paper put forward the idea and framework of the study and the purpose of writing and the related theoretical concepts. The second part is the research about the problems of urbanization and the protection of farmers’ land property rights, from the analysis of the history and current situation of urbanization in Xinjiang land and housing property rights of farmers, to identify the impact of urbanization on the farmers’ land property rights, influence is divided into product and the negative effect of the foundation for the existing the questions. The third part, mainly for the adjustment of farmers land property relations in the process of urbanization has made the related legal analysis, which lays the theoretical support. The fourth part, mainly on the existence of farmers in the process of land expropriation in the process of urbanization are analyzed. The fourth part, the causes of farmers in the process of land expropriation in the process of urbanization are analyzed from several aspects. The fifth part, from the Xinjiang to promote minority areas of social transformation, to achieve the overall social change, a sound legal system, improve the legal awareness of the protection of minority nationalities, the property is proposed to solve the problem of thinking.The sixth part is epilogue, to summarize the full text. Although the paper has some research and study in the process of writing, but there are still many problems, due to the lack of experience and field survey materials Co., due to various constraints, the research in some aspects are not specific enough, many aspects are to be further expanding and deepening. There are some problems need further study to improve.
