| The development of information technology makes our daily life convenient and causes trouble as well. We live in the big data time, which enables us to obtain information quickly on one hand but brings us the risk of privacy leaks on the other. Big data is a tool to make real-time analysis of massive unstructured data, such as people’s behavior pattern, consumptive habit, likes and dislikes. These data will be recorded and used repeatedly, which bring problems of privacy protection frequently. The problems make us feel worried and force us to think deeply, and my paper just discusses about how to protect citizen privacy in big data time.Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used. I searched and collected 18 major privacy leak cases, making statistics from a few dimensions, such as technical means, main body of attack, influencing consequences etc. I analyzed the origins and put up countermeasures after reading into these cases, such as enhancing industry self-discipline, improving legislation, and raising self-protection consciousness. |
