Research on poor college students have been attracted wide attention from the society. In recent years, the academic literature about the number of poor students of universities is on the rise. Some scholars have discussed the social exclusion of poor college students. But, study on the social exclusion theory to analyze the phenomenon of poor students is relatively less. Rural poor college students accounted for a significant proportion of poor students in colleges. But social exclusion of the rural poor college students has not caused enough attention by the academic circles. This study used qualitative research methods, through interviews with the rural poor college students, to explore the rural poor college students’ social exclusion.The study found that social exclusion of the rural poor college student performance in consumption, living habits, interpersonal, and many other dimensions. The rural poor college students is not only restricted in the economy, in terms of education, the cultivation of ability development of individual rights are deprived. Facing the social exclusion of the rural poor college students attitudes are: Thinking there is gap, need their own efforts; Look downward to seek the psychological balance; To leave the social exclusion; Feel deprived, think that unfair. The main methods when they deal with the social exclusion are: Camouflage to hide yourself and others the gap; Attacking in order to avoid others rejection; Prove yourself to get the recognition of others; Back away from the others and the community initiative. Epilogue part on the basis of the above calls for the social from all walks of life in various forms to strengthen rural poverty students’ physical, psychological, communication, information and other aspects of social support, so that they have a healthy campus environment, civilization, equality and affinity.
