As ancient Chinese officials special bureaucratic group, the upright official is the interactional product of Chinese traditional culture and the politics, is recommended for political model by all previous dynasties rulers. The upright official in Ming dynasty is the research object of this essay, the researching is focused the characteristics and style of the upright official in Ming Dynasty’practice analysis and its influence on the society at that time.The full text is divided into five parts:In the first part, the author specifically define the concept and scope of "the upright officials", discuss the group characteristics of the upright officials in the Ming Dynasty. Next part, through the analyze of the marriage of land case and lives a thief case that two types of typical cases, the author discuss the judicial practice of the upright official in the Ming Dynasty in detail. This is the second part. On the basis of this, the third part and the fourth part summarizing the judicial style and the judicial techniques. The last part, through analyzing the social impact of the upright officials’judicial practice in Ming Dynasty, the author thinks that the upright official in Ming Dynasty in many aspects as maintaining stability, social harmony have a lot of positive effect, although has certain negative influence on the society at that time, what’s more the upright official in the Ming Dynasty have the law-abiding, his honest, diligent and good moral character, which is also very worthy study for modern people, especially the government civil servants.
