Since the reform and opening-up, China’s urban and rural labor market mechanism has undergone major changes, but also significantly increased labor mobility. Migrants have become the actual components of the composition of the urban population. Quality of employment and income level also had a relatively improved. However, Yunnan Province is located in southwest, and it is a mainly mountainous province. Most local traffic is not convenient. Although as an agricultural populous, but Yunnan Province has relatively slow economic development. Although with rich labor resources in rural areas, urbanization level is low. Yunnan Province faced with the situation of labor mobility is different to the Central Province. Many new issues of labor mobility are unique to Yunnan Province.Migration is a special phenomenon in the urban-rural dual structure transformation. Its revenue problem has been subjected to the attention of experts and scholars. However, the academic study of the factors affecting the income of migrants has not yet come to a general conclusion. Different scholars in different perspectives analyzing the factors affecting the income of migrants have different conclusions. This paper mainly in Yunnan Province population migration as the research object, and based on the related research results of Yunnan Province of population migration flow pattern, structural characteristics, income effect of the research on.Part1introduced the background, main content, research methods and frame structure of this Paper. Part2briefly combed and reviewed the research progress, laying the groundwork of ideas and direction for this study. Part3reviewed the reform process of the labor market in Yunnan Province, and researched and analysis the model characteristics of population mobility during the labor market’s building process in Yunnan Province. As the result, scale flow of floating population in Yunnan Province is essential consistent with the trends in the labor market. Part4based on the "2013floating population dynamic monitoring survey data", respectively from gender composition, age composition and educational attainment elaborating structural characteristics and the income effect of floating population in Yunnan Province. Part5 was the empirical research, using the "2013Survey of floating population dynamic survey data" and other data, by performing independent tests to establish orderly logit regression model. Part6based on the features of floating population in Yunnan Province and the empirical conclusions making a number of recommendations. This study concluded that during the development of Yunnan urban and rural labor market, construction is closely linked to trends in Yunnan labor flow, income effect of floating population and rural and urban labor markets. Income is affected by the flow of migrants and human capital characteristics. Range of population movements has a significant positive impact on labor income. Flow time also significantly affects the income level of the floating population in Yunnan. If a migrant is a male, aged30-39years old, secondary education, his income levels are likely to increase.
