In this paper, there is no comment on the right or wrong of the gossips,but the event which is concerning Wen Zhang’s derailment raises an important legalissue-the privacy protection of special groups. So in this paper, it attempts to discussthe related problems of the privacy and to do some comb on privacy protection ofspecial groups.This paper is mainly divided into several sections, firstly it discusses the basiclegal issues of privacy, and starts with the concept, origin, nature, development,content of privacy and other problems, the author thinks that the privacy is notaffected by the other people’s interferences, and it is also the request of right aboutthe private lives of individuals are not violations or the illegal disclosing ofindividual’s private. Later cutting to the discussion of the body of the privacy, theauthor narrates it from two aspects, that is the subject of the privacy is only limited tocitizens, not including legal persons and other organizations, even the dead, whocannot enjoy the privacy. Then the author discusses the legitimacy of privacyprotection of special groups, he thinks that protecting the privacy of special groupscan help to maintain the peace of social and personal life and protect the dignity ofthe personality, so that to achieve the setting of better social ethics, standardize mediaprofessional behavior, and it can also provide value judgment standard fordevelopment and use of some science and technology products and the research andapplication of their methods This is the fundamental part of the article, which istrying to lay a good foundation for the study of the legal protection of privacy of thespecial groups.And then the article begins to pay special attention to the privacy protection of special groups, this part is the focus of this article and also the key content. For theprivacy protection of the special groups, we generally illustrate it from two angles ofrestriction and protection. At first, we talk about the privacy protection of stateofficials. The American has been pointed out to limit privacy of public servants earlyin the last century. Hence it establishes a legal principle: personnel who are engagedin official business will be limited their privacy and the purpose of this limitation isjust to protect the public interest. Due to the particularity on the social roles of publicstars, compared with the general public, their privacy is different, especially faced theconflict between the public’s right to know and the public opinion supervision, thisdifference is particularly obvious. On the one hand, for meeting the right to know ofsocial public, or arousing the focused interest of the public, the privacy of public starsshould be restricted to a certain extent; on the other hand, the free exertion of thenews could not base on the expense of infringing upon the basic privacy of publicstars and the unrelated public interest. So where the regulation of public stars’ privacywill go, we will start to discuss it in the third part.In this article, the author uses the method of case analysis and comparativeanalysis, and also applies some methods of concept of law, sociology research andinterest measure as the research tool, he tries to make full analysis and reasonablejudgment to conclude a scientific, practical and logical theoretical results.
