The rapid development of market economy, coupled with the impact of modernization and democratization, political marketing emerge as the times require. Political marketing is first applied in western political elections. Whether it is the presidential campaign of Nixon, or of Clinton, political marketing has been applied in many places and has attracted a great deal of attention of scholars. What is more, professional political adviser emerges. With the wide dissemination of new media, political marketing has been further development. Bruce Newman, Philip Kotler and other scholars have put forward the definition and analysis model of political marketing, also founded the international society of political marketing. Political marketing gradually mature.While political marketing started in China relatively late, it was not until the early21st century was introduced to our country, a relatively young discipline. Related research results Chinese academic researches on political marketing is not only too much, but also have focused on the concept and theory of carding phase, a lack of empirical analysis and system research. This article is based on this, hoping to sort out my own research on political marketing context, and through the analysis of related examples, to make a little contribution to the development of China’s political marketing.This paper uses the literature and case analysis method combination, establishing my own analytical model by combing the concepts and theories of scholars. In the study of political marketing concepts, comparative analysis and inductive analysis are used. By comparing the political marketing and marketing as well as political propaganda, summed up the scope of political marketing assignment.In political marketing analysis, this article mainly starts from the environmental analysis. On the basis of this, then analyzed the strategic planning of market segregation, object identification, political orientation and political marketing combination strategy. Next detailed describes the practice of political marketing, including product strategy, push and pull strategy, opinion polls and data the implementation of the marketing strategy, and public relations promotion strategy. The whole political marketing process is the political marketing theory analysis model, which the author tries to build. At the end of the article, the author summarized some problems existed and how to develop political marketing from three aspects of the rule of law, political party’s modernization and the cultural diversity, which we can see from the political marketing.The application of political marketing in.China at present is mainly the image of the Olympic Games, the World Expo, and other large national activities. There are not so much applications on the shape of the grassroots democratic election, government relations and the image creation of leaders. Considering the political marketing in the light of different environment, so this article embarks from the practical point of view, more emphasis on how the Chinese leaders and government to shape their own image establish interactive relationships with the public, the support of the people. Hope to open a new space of the government to carry out the social governance, which through the deep communication with the social public, a better grasp of public opinion, the government system, behavior and policy based on the basis of public opinion, to establish the legitimacy of the solid foundation. Also hope that the political marketing make a role of the transformation of government functions and parties.
