In recent years, there are a lot of research on Beijing aging problem, but a comprehensivestudy of the pension model and health management is rare.“Elderly will be looked after properlyâ€is the people’s pursuit of ideal since ancient times, and “healthy agingâ€is the practicalrequirements of today’s society. Since the party’s eighteen, livelihood issues become the focus ofgovernment work, and the pension and elderly health management will undoubtedly be the toppriority of the government’s current work. This is the significance of the research.By the end of2011,there are about38.6million household registration people that over theage of60in the Haidian District, accounting for the17.1%of whole Haidian domicile population.In the elderly population, the over80years old about65000, accounting for16.9%of the totalnumber of the elderly people. Pure old family population about189000,accounting for49.2%ofthe total population of the elderly. To "Twelve Five" end, part of self-care and totally incapacitatedelderly is expected to reach91000in the Haidian District, will account for19%of the total elderlypopulation. Totally incapacitated elderly amounted to about28000, accounting for the total elderlypopulation6%. According to the forecast, the elderly population will be an annual growth rate of20000in the Haidian District. The current pension system and health management can not meetthe needs of the elderly. Pension beds are hard to find, furthermore, elderly medical treatment isdifficult and expensive, has long been criticized.Pension and health management is a systematic, diversified services supply system. First, toinvestment diversification, establish of long-term mechanism, with the social insurance, socialassistance and social welfare as the basis, to charity and commercial insurance as a supplement,and establish urban and rural integration, equal access, and gradually increase the level ofprotection of pension and health care security system. Second, we must clearly related toinstitutional responsibilities, the establishment of performance evaluation mechanism, using PZBmodel to detect the gap between the needs of our elderly in the pension and health management,to better improve our services.
