| With the rapid development of science and technology makes the network technology constantly updated progress, resulting in the traditional mode of business transactions "revolution", the e-commerce as a rising star, has been increasingly favored by consumers for its congenital advantage of convenience, high efficiency and transparency, and it has brought enormous economic benefits to the society as well. However, the openness of the network caused tremendous obstacles to the protection of consumer privacy for e-commerce relies on network greatly. Here comes the contradiction between the development of electronic commerce and the protection of consumer privacy. What this paper is to explore is how to successfully resolve this contradiction.In this paper, the new Consumer Law Section 29 provides for the perspective of e-commerce to improve consumer privacy protection are discussed. The article first introduces the research status of e-commerce consumer privacy at home and abroad, research methods used and the significance of this topic. Describes the basic theory of consumer privacy protection, receive forms for e-commerce in violation of the privacy of consumers, harm and to analyze the causes of infringement, which leads to our e-commerce consumer privacy legislation. China’s current "Consumer Protection Law" clearly in Article 29 of the consumer’s personal information protection, this provision has its progressive, but there are flaws. The fourth part first affirmed the value specified in Article 29, then the presence of flaws protection provisions detailed analysis, pointing out shortcomings. After the new law tort duty to protect the body, the operators, the scope of protection, tort way generalization, tort liability and tort infringement analysis the main burden of proof provisions unraveling, the article fifth department to modify and improve the existing law views on the existence of these problems and recommendations.
