A Study On The Relations Of Scattered And Mixed Community Ethnic Groups In Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture

Along with the rapid pace of urbanization, the phenomenon of the national mixed and staggered living in China is becoming more common, as well the increasing population and more distibution area of scattered and mixed community ethnic groups. Ethnic relation in the scattered and mixed areas plays a very important role in China’s ethic relations, so that coordinating and processing it have realistic significance for national unity, stability and constructing the socialism harmonious society. In the new period, both internal and external factors of scattered and mixed community ethnic groups have changed, especially which are very important means in China’s ethnic autonomous areas. Thus, we need have a new understanding of that, so as to make the ethnic policy in accordance with features of ethnic autonomous areas and promote nationalities’ prosperity and development. For now, study of ethnic relation in the scattered and mixed areas account for little among the study of ethnic relations, let alone in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture. The thesis takes ethnic relations of Huidong county in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture as the research object, conducts a quantitative analysis on the three ethnic relations in Huidong county, respectively, "Han-Lisu" "Yi-Han" "Lisu-Yi" relation from four respects, including political, economic, cultural, social relationships, and through the analysis reveals the current situation and development trends of the ethnic relations of scattered and mixed areas in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in new period. Besides, analysis the factors influencing ethnic relations from two respects, history factors, economic factors. Finally, the author propose that guarantee the interests and rights of ethnics in the scattered and mixed areas, promote their all-around development, lastly make harmonious ethnic relations.
