How to restore the dominant position of virtue in contemporary moral theory has become an urgent issue need to be resolved under a more utilitarian, materialistic era background. And then, every educator should pay attention to and think that how to excavate the harmonious connotation in thought of moderation and take advantage of it for our harmonious moral education service.The thought of Aristotle’s moderation has many aspects to fit our contemporary moral education. Both are of referential significance for theoretical research or the construction of moral education of moral education. This paper try to excavate the Aristotle’s moderate theoretical connotation to integrate the elements that with the time value. Explore the reasonable path between Harmonious moral education and moderate thought, under the background of harmonious society. To further strengthen the harmonious moral education, looking for relevant measures to improve the effect of moral education, raise people’s moral realm as a tentative analysis and combing.This paper consists of five parts, including the Introduction and main text. The introduction is foreword, which explained the background and meaning of this selected topical, making a preliminary point out about innovation, the research methods, the characteristics of article and the difficult problem, then there’s the Overseas and domestic research actualities. At last, there is a definition about the core concept.The first chapter of this article, we will make a general analysis of Aristotle’s thought in background from the economic, political, cultural perspective. Lay a theoretical foundation for the following demonstrated which based on the overall logical framework of moral thoughts of an analysis and introduction. Finally, a review of the analysis is introduced in this paper about characteristics of Aristotle’s thought.The second chapter of this article is the central link of this paper. We will explain the unique connotation and status of degree in Aristotle thought in the middle and reveal the formation of moderation is inseparable with the degree concept from dissecting the connotation of degree, its essence is a kind of harmonious thinking that grasp the moderation. In addition, we will learn how to grasp moderate by understanding degree.The third part, from a practical point of view to make a more in-depth study with the thought of Aristotle, analysis the characteristics of practice of moderation by giving the nature of human to moderate from practice, practice makes the moderation to become a reality as well as the completion of moderation, Reveal the intrinsic mechanism of moderation is practical wisdom. But the most important thing is that the purpose of the moderation not only breeds in practice, but also the practice itself is a form of purpose, understand this will make a great significance for us to strengthen and pay attention to the practice of education.The last part is the key part of this article, which will be difficulty. We will focuses on refining the value of Aristotle’s moderate thoughts in the contemporary era, grasp the essence of moderation which including appropriate, reason and practice, find the path of combining with the contemporary harmonious moral education. Finally, this process provide a new perspective and reference for us to realize cultural strategy, improve the modern moral education predicament and build the harmonious moral education as well as social individual personality perfection.
