History as a country, nation’s unique and precious spiritual wealth, can help people establish a correct outlook on life and values, can enhance our national self-esteem, self-confidence, can learn from the past and know about the future, can build the country and bring peace. However, in the new era, ideological and cultural fields in China has set off a wave of historical nihilism. This stream of thought denies revolutionary history of modern China and trys to replace the existing socialist system with a capitalist system. It brought serious harm to Chinese culture.At the end of twentieth century, the collapsion of Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union made the international socialist movement go down. The Western hostile forces began to keep their eyes on socialist China. Along with the "peaceful evolution" policy as well as various bourgeois liberalization trend in the attack, China in the new era is facing a huge challenge. At the same time, the reform and opening up and further advancing economic globalization, gave a chance to make history nihilism stronger. In order to maintain the stability of socialist China and boycott negative impacts of Historical nihilism, we must adhere to the guidance of historical materialism, and scientifically understand of China’s revolution and socialist construction.
