The Research On Ideological And Political Education Function Of Mobile Media

As a new carrier of ideological and political education, mobile media has penetrated into every aspects of social life with the strong and wide spreading. The dissemination of media information has affected people’s world view, the sense of worth and philosophy profoundly. At the same time, we should also realize that it is a double-edged sword for mobile media, which is a carrier of information dissemination. On one hand, mobile media enriches the connotation of ideological and political education, which enlarges the influence and helps the construction of social mainstream values as well as keeps the energy of ideological and political education and plays an important role in creating good social morality by setting up an equal and voluntary communicative platform. On the other hand, some non-mainstream ideological information of mobile media have also impacted people’s world view, the sense of worth and philosophy. Therefore, it will has an important significance for ideological and political education to make full use of mobile media with which ideological and political education would be carried out, and to occupy advocacy positions in Internet, which would disseminate mainstream values and deepen the theory of ideological and political education.The function of the ideological and political education is the nature of the ideological and political education and is also the basis of realizing the value of the ideological and political education. The author of this thesis claims that mobile media has its unique characteristics in playing its functions which contain communication, education, guidance, services and prevention. Mobile media’s ideological and political educational function has been analyzed on the theoretical basis of the Leninist indoctrination theory, recessive education theory of ideological and political education, Mao’s occupation theory in ideological positions and new ideas to the media by the CCP. There are three principles which should be insist on in playing the mobile media’s ideological and political educational function, which include the core values guiding principle, "three close" working principle, and the principle of the product with the times. There are also four aspects for expressing mobile media’s ideological and political educational function, including expanding the space and time of ideological and political education, keeping the energy of ideological and political education, creating a new carrier of ideological and political education and establishing a new perspective of cultural construction and development.In the end of thesis, the ways of realizing mobile media’s ideological and political educational function have been put forward especially, which are consisted of putting the socialist core values into the most important position, promoting the development of mobile media, designing the new product with the times, and constructing the harmonious relationship between people and between media.
