Birds can be divided into two kinds based on the type of birds’ residence which one is resident and the other is visitant. Some of the left-behind children who live in their hometown in the rural area are like the residents, and the others have been in the city where their parents work in for one time or several times are like the visitants. The "visitants" have contacted with the world outside their home, and experienced urbanization of life. Has the experience exchange some of their cognitive? Do they have any difference in the physical and mental health compared with the "resident" left-behind children? There are so many related researches in China, but few of the researchers have noted the difference between the "resident" and the "visitant". However, the thrust of this article is focus on this issue. In this research, a village of Wugou Town in Huaibei City, Anhui Province is selected as the fieldwork point. The author played as "insider" and "outsider" respectively and collected the information patiently and carefully from the perspective of Culture Anthropology. During the fieldwork, the author taught in the center primary school as a student teacher at first, then contacted with the local villagers, especially the relatives of the left-behind children. She often live with them, love what they love, hate what they hate. The "ethnography" and the related views in this article are the crystallization of this study. The main article is divided into four parts. The first chapter consists of four parts including introduction, relevant domestic research status, research methods, concepts and other instruction. The research’s background and origin are introduced in the first part. And the status of domestic research is reviewed in terms of psychology, pedagogy, sociology respectively in the second part. The third part describes the research methods and the specific investigation methods. The definition of the key concepts, the introduction of the fieldwork point and the fieldwork time are described in the last part. In Chapter 2, the author describes the geography, the history, and the socioeconomic of the village, the migrant labor species in the village are also included. The Chapter 3 is the main content of this article. At first, the author introduces the left-behind chitdren’s basic situation based on the overall situation of the children in the field point. She randomly selected 8 boys and 5 girls as the main object of investigation, among them there are 6 boys and 3 girls are left-behind children. Then she describes the behaviors and the other details of them in their lives. At last, the author describes a personal life history of one left-behind boy with the thick description and expresses the existing problems clearly. In Chapter 4, the author summarizes and explains the content of the "ethnography". She doesn’t comment whether the "resident" or the "visitant" is better. What she emphasizes is that, in the present rural area of China, this phenomenon which the "resident" or the "visitant" appeared in left-behind children is the inevitable outcome of the period of social transition. In view of the problems which occurred in the "resident" and the "visitant" at present, on one hand, the relevant departments of the government must pay more attention to children’s mental health. And on the other hand, the whole society and families should realize the importance of implementing virtuous education of children, and more importantly, should work together to create a better environment which can make the children grow healthy and happy.
