In the21st century, there are more and more studies looking for howto assess and improve the quality of democracy. People study the quality ofdemocracy views democracy as the main products of political system. Theprocedure, content, and outcome are the criteria for measuring what a gooddemocracy is. For China Taiwan concerned, the "Asian Barometer Survey"data shows that from the high quality of their democracy it still has a longway to go. Taiwan still lacks many of the important characteristics ofdemocracy, such as the control of corruption, supervision and rule of law. Moreover, the strong point of the quality of democracy seems gettingbetter and the shortcomings getting worse. By using data of AsianBarometer Survey in China Taiwan2010, this article reveals that politicalgeneration, economic evaluations, and democratic beliefs have real impacton the dimension of the quality of democracy including procedure, contentand result. We find that Taiwan’s new generation have low evaluationsbecause of their critical vision; and people who hold on democratic valueshave more critical attitude because of their high standard; and people whohave a better assessment of the economy have high evaluations.
